A CCIE-certified engineer (#48284 – Collaboration) with a strong focus in Cisco UC, and interests in application development, programming and system optimization.

I’d resisted the temptation to blog prior to passing my CCIE as I wanted to create a blog that was more geared toward complex troubleshooting and architectural considerations for Cisco Unified Communications, as opposed to rehashing many blogs covering the lab scope, as these tend to be inundated with posts with less real-world application.  I have a real passion for SIP and love troubleshooting, and I hope that others can benefit from what I’ve learnt through practical hands-on experience in both professional and managed services.

Above all, I hope that my experiences can assist others to #dontcalltac.  I’ve learnt so much from working with TAC, but a whole lot bunch more when the temptation to get assistance was resisted! 🙂
